TISIRI’s Joe Kistel and Ed Kalakauskis visited a potential artificial reef project last week. The vessel of interest is an old steel tug boat with approximate dimensions of 70’L X 20’W X 25’T. Creating an artificial reef with it would be a perfect way to recycle the material and create marine habitat. The new reef would be of great interest to Scuba Divers, Fisherman, and marine interest groups of North East Florida and South East Georgia.
