A statue of Jesus was placed during the John C. Leone Reef in 2015. Hurricane Matthew toppled the statue in 2016. The statue has now been re-erected thanks to divers Jack Leone, Emily Leone, Ed Kalakauskis, Ed Dendor, and Joe Kistel. The project took planning, specialized underwater lifting equipment including a giant SubSalve lift bag, and most importantly teamwork.
