TISIRI executes a West Marine sponsored reef cleanup objective. Several Jacksonville artificial reef sites were visited by divers equipped with knives, scissors, and mesh bags in an effort to remove accumulated fishing line. Divers targeted other debris they determined hazardous to the reef environment as well but, because of its entanglement threat, fishing line was the priority. These reefs are in healthier condition thanks to the efforts of TISIRI and these TISIRI supporters.
