In an effort to educate students on the significance of marine habitat, TISIRI has partnered with Mandarin high school. A reef structure creation project is in place in which students have hands-on involvement in creating artificial reef structures. The physical aspect of habitat creation tends to create a better appreciation of marine habitat by the students. Reef structures are typically made at the high school and transferred to an offshore location with the next concrete reef deployment. Sponsorship of reef structure is a fiscally smaller contribution option then naming a reef site while still providing a means to physically contribute an artificial reef structures.
