"
During the 2014 Northeast Florida Lionfish Blast Tournament TISIRI sent out a lionfish control team to capture invasive lionfish with sling spears and a live capture technique. The team successfully brought in over 200 lionfish. The lionfish were cleaned and turned into tasty lionfish ceviche. The live caught lionfish were provided to both Jacksonville University and University of North Florida were they are currently living in research display aquariums.
